The NHIVNA Autumn Study Day is open to NHIVNA members and non-members and will be on the topic of ‘Psychosocial Influences on caring for Refugees living with HIV in the UK’.
Supporting people living with HIV who are navigating a variety of complex psychosocial issues can prove challenging to navigate within the care setting. This workshop has been designed to help delegates to explore, discuss and focus on solutions to a variety of presenting psychosocial issues, around trauma, migration law, and barriers to access care. Case base discussions and sharing of lived experiences will enable delegates to explore ways to enhance their clinical practice.
